There is an upcoming screening of the documentary:
Water on the Table
Explores Canada's relationship to its freshwater, arguably its most precious natural resource. The film asks the question: is water a commercial good like running shoes or Coca-Cola? Or, is water a human right like air? The film features "international water-warrior" Maude Barlow. There will also be a post-film discussion on local water issues with director Liz Marshall and Council of Canadians BC/Yukon Regional Coordinator, Harjap Grewal.
Now in its third year, Projecting Change showcases documentaries that promote positive social and environmental change on a local and international level. Following each film, inspiring speakers - ranging from artists to activists to community leaders - lead the audience in a discussion of the onscreen issues, and outline courses of actions for those wanting to learn more.

Anything else you’re interested in is not going to happen if you can’t breathe the air and drink the water. Don’t sit this one out. Do something. You are by accident of fate alive at an absolutely critical moment in the history of this planet.
